Many people want to find a way to make money blogging. In our series on how to make money blogging we look at different aspects. Getting paid for blogging can take many forms aside from being paid for blogging for someone else, you can actually make money on your niche blogs. Let’s go over the many ways that you can make money blogging.

Paid Blogging

If you’re a good writer you can ghostwrite blogs for others. Simply start a website and offer your services. Market yourself via Linkedin.com, Twitter.com, your blog/website and via your networks. There are also services such as: Payperpost.com, LinkWorth.com, and others where you can sign up to be a paid blogger to blog about topics their advertisers offer you. Another idea would be to go to platforms such as Odesk.com and find job offers. There are 1,000s of people looking for articles and tutorials. You can also sell PLR packages on the Warriorforum or at your own online store.

Advertising

If you already have a blog, or create a popular blog, eventually you can offer advertising spots that people will pay good money for a weekly or monthly spot on your blog. Simply create standard pricing and spots, collect the money, and post the advertising, there are some extensions and plugins that work seamlessly and automatically for WordPress.

Ad Networks

Adsense, Kontera, AdBrite, and others allow you to run advertisements on your website based on the keywords on your site. You get paid for clicks on the advertisements, not just for having the ad there. It is important that you follow all the terms of service for this type of advertising to avoid illegal clicks, inappropriate content, and other issues that can arise. For newbies, who add a lot of content to their blogs, Adsense and the other mentioned ad networks are great to get started make money blogging because it is relatively easy to do as long as you are willing to put in the effort to blog very often. If you develop a popular blog you can actually ask for sponsorships. These sponsors pay you to be the exclusive advertiser on your blog for a particular period of time. Finding a sponsor for your blog might require some research. It is important that the sponsor not be direct competition but also offers something to your niche market.

Affiliate Marketing

Find products that offer value to your readers and promote them on your blog. You can find affiliate products by looking on Clickbank.com, or by simply searching for products that fit your niche then checking to see if they have an affiliate program. Sometimes, even if they do not have an affiliate program you can work out a coupon discount or deal for your readers that gives you a percentage of sales directly with the seller. Just write the website owner and ask. Chances are, they are interested to work out a joint venture with you.

Information Products

Creating your own information products is a great way to make money blogging. By creating your own products you put the power into your own hands to earn money blogging. You can even end up having your own affiliate program for your information products as you develop a following. However, creating your own product takes often a lot of time and effort. You want to provide real value to your readers and you want to make it really unique so it is necessary to put in time and thoughts to create something really valuable. Still, nothing is more rewarding because you get in touch with people and you can improve your product further. It took me six months to develop the content for the Living For Mondays Academy and it still takes a lot of time every week to give my students further value. However, I love to answer their questions and contribute to the success of their business.

Physical Products

If you’ve developed a popular following having physical products such as T-shirts, mugs, and other premiums for your visitors to purchase creates yet another income stream that is relatively easy to set up with services such as Printfection.com, Zazzle.com, CafePress.com and other services.

Making money on your blog requires having a good amount of traffic, but nothing is more fun than seeing money going into your PayPal account while you’re sleeping. It can be done, and you can do it, if you just set your mind on it. Having several streams of income from your niche blog(s) can be your new job.
